Will I need new shocks?

I'm looking to purchase a 172 flamer in the coming week and of course, I'll be looking to lower it. I've decided on Sportlines but will I need new shocks to back the new springs, so to speak?

Any info. will be greatly appreciated!

Depends what condition they are in, if their in good condition No you dont need to

It's a Y reg, 2001. Done 52,000 miles...

They'll be getting on a bit then. May not need changed straight away but defo something to save up for

I'd save up and get koni adjustable shocks when they need replacing. Works out at about £440 vs £200ish, but meant to be very good.

i needed tochange my rear shocks about 32k they cos me 50 quid each from renault

i also fitted a set of eibach sportlines which go straight on
