Williams at Scooby shootout today

was it anyone on here saw it run a couple of times, in the 14s for 1/4 mile.

Is this about right for a williams then?

whats typical of other clios then 1/4 mile times,

Valvers with the 2.0 are usually faster than Williams for some reason so if you remove back seats/ spare you should be able to beat 14.90. Was my first go at the quarter miling as well so theres room for improvement.

I have got on my williams engine hillpower induction kit, hill power chip, 4-2-1 supersprint manifold, de-cat, ashley exhaust and lightened and balanced flywheel.

So with this i should be getting into the 14s quite easily then?

Ive got Hillpower chip, viper, exhaust with de-cat and stripped interior.I got 14.97@ 91mph on my first ever go so I reckon you should get into 14s no problem. Depending on how well you can launch you might get closer to 14.5/6 IMO.

I hope so i would be well pleased with that i managed 15.5 wuith them mods on my valver engine without the flywheel at 89mph, If i can get that with the willy enfine in i will be well impressed.

I would ideally like to beat my mate doms time at pod of 14.4 in his valver.

how much did the viper cost u?

at the moment all ive got a a devil group N ? straight throught system,

getting a 16v manifold soon and will look to get a decat for it , but will only use that for 1/4mile etc, got 2 new borns next door!

also in middle of saving for headwork and cams etc looking at sending it to GDI/ben R for work doing

If you are putting a 16v manifold on what are you doing with your williams down pipe because i know someone who is after one and has a 16v manifold and down pipe

It was just under 200 from K-tec, mine doesnt have any cold air ducting though, I think they sell it with this now for 215-220. Nor cheap for an i/k but a lot better than the K&N57i I had before.

this is due to the narrower front track.

i ran a 15.5 in a valver with decat, full ss zaust and a viper...

My valver ran a mailto:15.5@89mph">15.5@89mph with filter chip manifold de-cat and exhaust with all the interior and spare wheel in on 143000 miles

Dont get a 16V manifold on the Willy lump. Despite what people say, I found out the other day that it robs the 2.0 of torque because of the larger tracts. Why else would Renault have gone to the trouble of making a one-off custom steel one for the Willy?
