Williams Dimma On e-bay

How much would you lot say it was worth?

Im not sure whether to bid or not,i think the reserve last time was £6500 but it might be lower this time as its got a £1 start,I contacted the seller last time and he said it has had 4 owners and part service history but not full,apparantly the previous owners brother did the servicing and hes a BMW mechanic,i like the car purely for it looks etc but i dont like the high miles it has,it had its timing belt changed 14,000 miles ago,

The seller has contacted me to say the reserve is £7500 so i wont be persuing it,low miles to me is like well below 50K i know the engine is good for 150,000 miles but who wants to pay £3000 for a Williams with 125,000 on when id come to sell it?If i bought one with 35,000 or so miles on for say £6000 id still get most of the money back if i came to sell it in 4 years with 50,000 on,

Pric eis in the kit and modding of teh car. Loads of money spent and think they will struggle to sell at that price. You just dont get your money back. Only worth spending money on a car if you intend to keep it.

the other willy dimma on there went for £4600 !!

and it had a massive install !

I didnt have the funds to buy the other when it was on..ive told the guy with the Dimma Williams ill pay up to £5500 for it and ive bid upto £3000,it will be interesting to see what it goes for,he told me it had £11,000 in mods and is mint etc but at the end of the days mods dont increase the value on told cars..only if the car is up to 4 years old with low miles and the mods what everybody wants and would be putting on the car anyway would it increse the value id say,i had a Cors GSi with £12,000 miles..sold for £3500 last year and i have a Fiesta Rs turbo with £19,000 in mods,i couldnt sell this car for £4000 even with only 71,000 miles on the clock so ive just broken it up and sold the parts,i got just over 7K for everything and have only the shell remaining..oh and a private plate worth £1600 what is stuck on the shell because of no mot i can not transfer it,

LOL I bid £500 on it when it just went on. Ill never understand why people put crazy reserves on things like £7500. If thats the least hell take, its pointless putting it up for auction. Just put it in the paper or on Autotrader and see what happens. Having to go up to 7 and a half large before your bid is even accepted is a sure fire way of putting people off!

nice but old now aint it! if u gonna kit up ya car u should wanna be diff! buy a kit u like for egs a civic kit then go to a VERY VERY GOOD bodyshop and say customise that to fit !

(i had that idea of a bloke who owns a body shop! isnt it the point of kittin up cars too stand out? and the best way to stand out is to be totally different!) thats my view ne way! u prob think im talkin cod sh*t but hey! im a noob lol

Not really a pure williams anymore, Incorrect seat, wheels etc, need to be standard to achieve a good price.

Gotta agree with you there Simo ! I think the Dimma kit looks VERY dated and a bit $hit to be totally blunt. Too rude bwoy for me IMHO !

An original williams will always be worth more than a modified one. They have completely ruined this car.

For some reason the dimma kit just dont look right. Think the almost testarossa intake look on rear quarter ruins it.
