also whats more tuneable .. the valver or the williams ? as they seem to have similar performance figures from standard.

evo magazine :p

did'nt mean it like that mate, i ment where did they get them figs from, afaik std williams will do 134 mph and i reckon it will do a tad better than 0-100 in 20.8 sec , 0-60 seems about right tho.

i'd say that the williams would be the most tuneable, although the engine is loosely based on the 1.8 16v clio engine but with a few differences, im not too sure what exactly they are though. The williams is the harder, more focused car, and better with it!

although i did used to own a 150bhp clio 16v on spax suspension that used to be an absolute hoot!

the willy would hold its value much better than the valver due to it being a rare special edition aswell :)

williams mate, better base to work on. not alot in it bhp wise but loads more torque from the 2.0l and more useable power i.e. 2k on lots of torque to play with, valver 4.5k get a nice kick.

aye i know mate im just messin :p

i think the evo top end figure is a little questionable aswell, i know my old clio 16v used to show 140mph top end (on the clocks anyway) which probably equates to 128-130mph in reality. i would expect the willy to be hitting that.

as for the 0-100 time, the willy has a power to weight ratio of 155bhp/ton, most other cars tested by evo with a similar power to weight ratio seem to crack 100 in around the 20 sec mark aswell.
