i think i have heard other people have this problem. it only happens now and then. normally after a lot of stop start town driving. when i try to go into reverse it cruches. any ideas

I get this on my valver - perhaps is a renualt "feature" ?

Put it into 1st before reversing. Works every time. (BTW, the Valver and Willy boxes are practically identical, except for 5th ratio, bearings and casing).

this works indeed every time, ive been doin it now for about 3 years now since i heard somebody saying it.

The way the box is designed, you are ment to put the clutch down and wait for three seconds before engaging reverse gear !!

Try it !! Honestly it does work !!
