Williams Side Badges

Heya,

Are the badges on the side strips on Williams Flat with a sticker on? You know, the ones which say 2.0 16v.

If you think Im going mad, he is a picture of mine... I want them to be just flat, with nothing on them - was kinda hoping the Williams ones were flat and just had a sticker on them? I havnt had chance to look at a Williams badges up close.

If all else fails, it looks like Ill have to sand these ones down, however, Im not so sure it will look as good.

No, Thats why I want to take the "2.0 16v" stickers off - So Im basically left with a blank plate!

Daz - just ran out to the car. Yes, they are smooth - but its not a sticker i dont think, its a plastic insert

you can actually get plain inserts, ive got them on my RT.

By "insert" do you mean, the whole thing? I know you can pop the ones I already have in out...

yea, them pop out ones like above in the picture only with nothing on, they were on my car when i bought it, my sisters now got it so i dont see it that often, when i do ill see if i can get a part number off them or something,

i would be interested in removing my 1.2 badge! I will give reno a ring and ask them!

When I had my 1.2, I took my 1.2 badges off, sanded the "1.2" off, colour coded them - and stick them back on. Easy peasy!

Yea, I could sand it off... but it would be sooooooo much better if I could get an original blank part

I think I tried Renault and they didnt know what I was on about?

hiya Daz, sorry it took so long to reply. I emailed Renault with quite a few stuff for part numbers but no number for those side bits. Ive got a spare 16valve one if you want it?

I phoned Renault again and no such thing either. I dont wanna put 16v badges on (or any other model for that matter) because my car isnt a 16v, S etc..

Id rather have blank .... Looks like Ill be filing/sanding.
