How do i tell if the steering arm rod inner ball joint is a male or female one? Apparently it could be either. Need to find out so no more garages waste my very valuable time.

what? buy the gen arms from renault.they are cheap enough and you wont have this hassle.the track arm screws into the rack so if anything its male but every renault one ive seen has been the same.

get renault to do it as the labour should be less given the "special tool"

at least its done that way
