williams widetrack on a 172?

Car  e91 330d/type r mini
i read somewhere that its possible to fit a williams widetrack onto a 172, my 172 has a bent subframe and i have a complete williams widetrack laying around and thought if it fits it would save me some cash and help with the handling if it was wider. just want to know if anyone knows for sure if it will fit and if there is anything elase i should know when fitting it.

yeah probably easier....things like the williams anti roll bar wont fit due to the steering rack (172 arb has a bend in it to accomodate)...but its not worth it due to loosing width :)

you must have read this in the latest performance french car magazine?

They say that people often fit williams widetrack to 172's to improve handling, i guess they meant to say it the other way round?

well there has only been like 3-4 people that have put 172 widetrack onto a williams (Me, whiteley and two others), so im not sure what they were on about lol...I saw that written though..

Colm....did that parcel get to you?!

Numpties! Why would they say that, they must be getting confused between putting either 172 onto williams or williams onto valver surely...

So is it possible to 'widetrack' a mk 1 using 1@2 parts to give even more width than a williams setup would???? What parts would this require??
