Titanium 182
Hello, been a while since i posted on here seeing as i stopped owning a Renault for a year but found my way back. Ill start with when I had my 1.2 Clio, some of you might have seen it on here before.
A lot of effort went from turning that basic expression model 1.2 into how it did, after i had my clio i bought a mk6 fiesta fiesta which i did more or less the same things to as the clio, lowered it way too much, wide wheels, etc. I think it was about 4 months into owning the fiesta i really was never satisfied with it but stuck through with it until my next insurance renewal... and then the time came.
Ideally I wanted an RB but then began to look at inferno's but due to my funds and my fiesta falling to bits it made sense for me to p/x as i had trouble selling my car privately being broken in a few areas, I searched around for a month or so nearby and couldn't find anything decent, everything around where I live seemed to either not been looked after or just a shed. I finally gave in and talked myself into travelling for a better one and my search continued. One morning after my night shift i was getting myself ready to drive 3 hours to swindon to view an Inferno and before I set out I checked eBay one last time and I saw this being advertised. All the way in Porth, even further from my house, this 182, both cup packs with Sat Nav (not that its much use and I still cant work it properly haha), already had a few mods on it such as: Scorpion resonated exhaust with decat (unsure what make), Cooksport springs, 3/4 plate, drilled and grooved discs and some terrible air filter which is being changed as soon as the new one i have bought arrives. I drove down to view it and after a test drive i loved it and didn't want to leave it, unfortunately I had to sort my private plate out on my fiesta a few other things, so i left a deposit and got everything ready to pick it up when i got my log book back with the original plate on the fiesta.
The day came when I was able to pick it up, I couldn't wait to get down and sit on the M6 carpark during the delays when I had to get to porth. On the drive home i couldn't fault it, had no problems, ran smooth, I think I was just happy I was in a Clio again except with power this time. Only downside is that the belts are due this time next year which I am looking to get sorted around new year time and the front end could do a respray but i expect that from a 12 year old car.
Hopefully I will keep this updated and renew my membership soon but thought I'd see how this goes first, cheers for looking.
