Willy3 from Aberdeen

Just wondering if the person who used to own my Williams 3 that came from Aberdeen still uses this forum. I got the car (sporting cliosport.net stickers)from a garage near Manchester. Would be interested to hear of any history from the previous owner.

Remember one advertised in the Local ads paper from Aberdeen. The lad was on here a few times - I cant remember what he replaced the Willie with.

Was the reg L** EEK or something similar?? If so back up for sale recently. The guy who used to own it is registered as A11 YDJ, he works for renault now but drives A subaru catalunya after getting rid of his 172!

Ive just been looking in the cliosport gallery and i think its the first williams 3 in the williams gallery. Pretty sure its the N***USS reg. If so hes called Gary Ross

Ive havent seen it either...Theres a dodgy Silver 172 with MASSIVE Vents and Bazzoka Exhuast pipes. Loads a standard 172s & Cups and A Blue Valver, (one of the boys off here)

Im in Abd just now, tried to sign up to the aberdeen beach web site and it says im barred!!! Never bin b4!

lol...that 172 is ghastly...its a Mechanic at Reg Vardy Renault!! Blue valver is u33db off here, theirs a couple of Mk1 V6s and a Blue Mk2 V6 and theirs a sweet black dynamique goes about too.....wonder whos that is

A11 YDJ (Ally) had a Williams 1 which he sold a while back cos it has gearbox problems. Ironically, my valver is now sitting with a fcuked gearbox as i type....

Erm, i sold my K&N to a guy with a standard Williams (3 i think) a few months ago so it could be him. His username was RENNIE i think - you might be able to get his email from the members area/Jas (Forum Chairman). If it is the same guy, id expect it look fairly tidy - the Fiat Coupe he met me with looked stunning! BTW, i dont know if the williams 3 that you mention is actually a real one - in the members area Gary Ross (In Aberdeen anyway) is listed as having a Clio 16V Phase 2

I am "Rennie" and own a Willy 3 in Aberdeen, Spooky because mine came up from Manchester! - It was a guy at works mate just happend to be selling one and My girlfreind had always fancied one. - Anyway he drove all the way up here and I had a go and my girlfreind hardly gets a shot

We could have saved some mileage if we had left them where they were Mat!!

I have seen that 172 a few times whilst going to work - seems to be well put together as theres a few pot holes up here and none of the bits fell of I will stick my clio sports sticker on the willy and keep my eyes peeled. That 172 sounds sweet!!

I still havent fitted that K&N! - cleaned it repaired the piping and put it in the garage. Hope you get the gearbox fixed soon!! - Theres another Valver that parks at the top of St Machar Drive beside the roundabout..

The Coupe is going to be getting a few things done to it over the next few months so the Willy will be in use more.

Yes indeed! Getting past that worrying 70.000 milestone here.

Interesting point about that Williams 1 with the ropey gearbox. I test drove mine before parting with the cash and didnt notice any probs with the gearbox. Despite this it went and i had to have it reconditioned to the tune of £1200 - ouch. Only had it two months.
