Mock all you want 😉

Ive got my trusty windows 7 laptop running my trusty version of autocad 2006, been using this setup for 10 years plus.

The other week cad started playing up, every time I click open or save it crashes and I get not responding.

Uninstall cad and reinstalled but I cannot resolve the issue. Its been working fine for over 10 years.

This issue has brought my workshop to a stand still, I did everything on cad.

Someone help, please 😭

Yes, chkdsk /f c: then press enter, confirm the scan and reboot the computer.
It did whatever it did and then laptop just started up. So no idea if it found any issues 🤷

Event viewer shows this

its been working for the past 10 years, i dont understand what the issue could be.
Old software, the event viewer log tells you that the software is not compatible with that version of Windows. Could bean update or anything that’s knocked it out.

You could try a system restore to before it was an issue and hope for the best.
