i got it now, and there's no messenger live logo that goes at the bottom of the screen just got this doc paper with bits of colour in the middle, i want to get the logo back dont know how tyo plus want to get rid of the adverts too

I ran it for 2 days and re-installed the old version. Totally un-usable IMO

going through this process has ruined the calender syncronisation in my mail client though, and I can't fix the b*****d

Piece of s**t causes an error on startup for me every f**king time (wlstartup.exe). Finally given me the push to uninstall it, seeing as I've not used it now for years.

Haven't Google stopped supporting that now, basically admitting it died on it's arse.

OK, had to try this again to get email and calender working......

anyone else getting freezing up and massive CPU over-use (over 50% just to run messenger!!!!)??? only seems to happen if i have more than 1 conversation open, but messenger should take next to nothing to run :S

It's the sound of my Mac being superior once more.

Also mine slowed down due to windows updates. Restarted and all was well.

Keeps going really r e a l l y slow until it eventually stops altogether. Have to reload it a few times a night... hate it!
