windows vista iTunes install help

I can't install iTunes, or quicktime, onto my acer aspire laptop even though I used to run the software on here. I've tried clearing all old apple files (including bonjour, program files folder etc), running the install in admin but still get this message:

Anyone had this problem before? Any help appreciated.

I've had it a few times. I've found if I download the file from cnet instead it works fine.

Just tried that, took me straight to the apple site and did the same thing.

Gay. Right click and try running as Administrator.

I've already tried and didn't make any difference, even turned off firewall settings incase it was that :dead:
