Windscreen washer nightmare

My poor valver has been sat on the drive without an mot for a month now because of this pathetic problem I can't fix.
The windscreen washers have packed up and that's a mot failure as we all know so I haven't even bothered to take it for the test.
I've checked the fuses and the washer motors, all fine. Tried another stalk on the steering column, still nothing.
Has anyone had this problem and solved it, it's doing my head in.
Cheers
Ben

trace the problem along the pipes by pulling them off where they split/meet the washer jets turn the washer on and see if water comes out. my guess is its got blocked and is coming out of a relief valve

Sorry, what I meant to say is that there's no power getting to the washer pumps, the pumps work fine if I hook em up direct to the battery.

Ah right, just do that for the mot then! With a fuse obviously! There must be a break in your wiring if youve checked everything else.
