Windscreen Washer Pumps

  Flame Red 172
Alright chaps,

I've had problems with my washers since I picked up the car a few weeks ago - trickle from the front, nothing out the rear.

I tried swapping the jets for the mist type from Citroen and it made no difference so since then been looking around for a replacement pump and cheapest I could come across was £10 second hand.

Anyway, long story short, I did a speculative search on ebay for washer pumps local to me but excluded "RENAULT" from the search.

First thing to pop up was this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-W...&otn=3&po=LVI&ps=63&clkid=3148035023050846250

Popped round this morning and compared to one I removed, looked the same. Got it home and fitted it - perfect and for £5.99! It also looks like they don't charge postage either?!

Anyway, I hope this helps someone out and saves a couple of quid for you!

Cheers

Anyone know if the cup washer pump is the same as 172/182 (obviously the cup does not have headlamp washers)

Windshield washer pump is the same. Headlight washers have a seperate pump. Reservoir is different on a cup (low spec tank).

Cheers mate, my front screen jets seem to pulse rather than spray. Strangely though my rear jet has started to work on its own after 3 years of not working.
