Winter detail prep?

Going to be doing a bit of a detail to protect the car for the winter and as its raining every other day up here!
car currently has 4 coats of chemical guys 3X but i plan on starting again with polishing and working my way up.
so>...

whats the best sealant/wax best suited for the likely conditions?
thinking : Collinite, Carlack or maybe Jeffs? or stick with 3X?

Anyone with any experience with these tell me whats best please? Need to be able to be layered for each wax what should i be using with it? Can i use say, carlack ontop of a few coats of 3X?

Any help is really appreciated

or just go for Zaino.

so AG SRP then 3 coats EGP then few coats of collinite?

Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger standalone sees my daily drive well protected. It is reformulated Klasse SG/ Car-Lack 68 Long Life Sealant and a hell of alot easier to use than them.

It is also lots quicker to use the EGP in the fact I can do my 3 layers of it in the time one coat of EGP takes as there is no wait before removing and no 12-24 hours needing to be left between layers.

No point using anything between the SRP and Jett as it will bond better straight to the SRP.

I alternate between using it or Duragloss Aquawax on the daily drive after washing.

Carlack Nano topped with #476s. Jeffs Trigger is only easier to use than the dedicated Long Life sealant as it has more distilled water so isn't as concentrated (also makes it easier to spray). Try long life on a damp applicator, a panel at a time and it's very easy to use and will be more durable.

Ive ditched the #16 after it was used for tar removing

Cant beat collinite go for the 915 tho slightly better look and bigger tin so more cost effective overall

Cant fault Jett Tho so easy to apply stick 6 or 7 coats on topped with a couple of collinite im sure that will be more than enough lol

Rich when did you convert to Zaino ? What products you using and have you ditched the Jet ?

Only in the last few weeks, still topping it with Carnauba though!

Have got Z-AIO, Z2, Z5, ZFX, Z8, Z6 etc.

Won't be ditching the Jett all depends on what I am doing have time to do.

I have some carlack nano in my shed, aways thought this was some cleaner type of product?

^ ah, just had a nose on CYC. I'll be going with Carlack and topped off with some Collinites
