its just a joke!!!!

got hold of renault and was told.

if the sensor has come off they dont stick it back on, they order a whole new sensor. renault dont do glue or sticky pads, but new sensors come with the sticky pads already on it.

what a f*cking joke, super glue here i come!!!

no idea.

renault dont know even what they use, so it makes things even more difficult.
they jus buy a whole new sensor

That's absurd. I would say clear silicone round the edges and hold it in place with some ducktape 'till it goes off.

im in exactly the same position.

dont shave all the pads alread there off. i think thats the ideal distance from the window. i did that and superglued it on. no problem but after a few weeks the pressure of the sensor pressing off the window firced the bracket off the windoe again...time to improvise.

i see, so leave renaults existing sticky strips attached, just add a tad of super glue to them?
