Wiperarm touches windscreen

I fiited a new washer pump today or refitting my drivers wiperarm i now notice it rubs the windscreen and after several attempts at refitting it i can get it to not touch and scrape when its working as anybody had this problem

Its the large base bit on the drivers side that touchs

Did you take the mechanism out at all?

Yh i did and i bolted it back into its correct holes

Did you locate the mechanism back on to the dowel locating pin that comes out the bulkhead? My guess is not as I've seen similar before. All the bolts still go in but it's not actually correct unless it's on that bit.
