I really should now how to do this....but I don't.

I want to wipe everything off my old(ish) desktop pc and start a fresh. I've transferred all the files I want to keep onto a hard drive, got all
the required software, but what now?

On startup do you press F1 and go into settings?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Do you have a OS disk? I put the disk in, Run the disk from boot, Delete the old partition then just install the new OS on the hard drive.

No I havn't got it. A guy at work is going to do a basic setup on it tomorrow, windows, anti virus, office etc. But I just wondered if I could wipe everything
off it?
