Wire boot LEDs to sub

Is it possible to wire a led strip from my sub with built in amp?
Just thought it would be easier than putting it to boot light

Yes, just connect it to the earth and switchable live, then whenever you turn the stereo on... Which in turn switches the amp on, the led strip will come on at the same time.

but, why would you want an led strip on constantly?

Yes but why? Wire it to the boot light.

I had 4 led strips in my 1.2

Was just a thought because I wasn't sure how to connect it to the boot light,but I know how to now
