Cheers. Ill get on the case the morn.I might be able to help you out with this, but I'll need you to let me know what pin positions your original tps wiring go into at the ecu. Very easy to do if you have a multimeter and do a continuity test to bell each individual wire.
Not so easy if you don't as you have to rely on checking the colour coordination.
When you know what wires go where on your ph1 loom, mention/quote me so I get a notification. That way I'll know when you've replied. :up:

Ok buddy. Leave it with me and I'll have a scan through some pinouts.The 3 pins used on ph1 loom are 48,74,75

Yeah apologies, I should've known that as I've helped another member with wiring a tps sensor in on a ph2 only the other day!@NorthloopCup i checked the pins on the ph2 loom. The pins used are 62,61,17,7,13,82.
So pin 75 is not located on the tps.
No problem at all. Any stress, give me a nudge.@NorthloopCup ok thanks very much for your help.
Is it a ph1 ecu? Or a gen90?Glad I've found this as I'm fitting a cable throttle onto my cup and was wondering about the plug situation
@NorthloopCup
Hopefully I can work it all out from this.
Or do I need to fit ph1 ecu and engine loom?
Happy days then mate. There's a few other wires that need swapping in the ph2 ecu plug, but can't remember which ones.It's a ph1 ecu @NorthloopCup
To keep things simple you may be better off swapping out the ph2 loom and fitting the ph1 engine loom tbh. You need to check the wiring connections that go into the interior loom (n/s inner wing fuse box) are the same across the 2 looms though to be certain it's a compatible swap. Some of the wires going back into the car will be for the throttle pedal potentiometer, which you will no longer require for obvious reasons. You'll find these in the white multi plug connector.@NorthloopCup Sorry for all the questions, but I would like to get it sorted soon.
I currently have the ph1 inlet and cable throttle body fitted, ph2 engine loom and ph2 ecu.
I do have in the garage a complete ph1 engine loom and ecu.
I want to go to the cable throttle for reliability and response, and still need all the other bits n pieces to work.
Do I need to swop the engine loom from the ph2 loom to the ph1 engine loom and use the ph1 ecu?
Or use the ph2 engine loom, change the plug that goes to the TPS and swop a few pinouts to the ecu and use the PH1 ecu?
Help appreciated
