wiring my neww amp :)

hi everyone , this is my first post on the formum just become a member passed my driving test a couple of weeks ago and had my clio 1.2 16v dynamique 2003 reg bout a week very happy with it . to start somewhere iv got myself a kenwood sub and rockford fosgate amp . im wiring it all up with my mate next week and was wondering how everyone else got their power cable through the engine bay to the boot ?? the idea at the moment is to just drill a hole through into the footwell ??!! is that the common thing to do ? or is their another way ?! just asking as im worried bwt taking a drill to my new car lol sorry bwt the life story xx

There's lots of threads on this if you do a search mate, i'll try n find one for ya.

Dont need to drill any holes tho, There is a rubber grommet behind the glove box where the bonnet release cable goes. You can thread the power cable through there!!!

There ya go, the pic in the thread shows the rubber grommet on the left with the red power cable going through. You should see this behind the glove box. Use a thin piece of metal coat hangar or something to attach the cable to and thread it through the hole.

Well done with the test and nice car, just sold my 1.2 dynamique and got a 182 .....TODAY!!!

Yep only just got back , its wayyyyyyy too fast LOL and lots of chavs in saxos kept trying to race me haahaha.
