Hi..
I am just weighing things up at the moment as far as adding any engine mods to my V6.. mainly in question for me are the following:
1. Am I going to keep my V6 (02) long enough to bother changing it? (approx upgrading to the Mk2 V6 around August/Sept)
2. Will it be a nightmare to sell it after playing around with its engine? (Would you want to buy a played around with V6?) Please Advise?
3. In 2 minds as whether its worth losing the warranty thats remaining?
OK.... heres the crunch.. be good to hear the response from the experienced V6 guys again... Tim and Ben and Mike etc and other owners what they make of this... But I just made a call the The Wizards of Nos
http://www.noswizard.com/NOS WIZARDS LINK
I saw them mentioned on sky (5th Grear?) the other day, and thought Id see whats involved and the price of there fitted nos kit. The guy I spoke to there has already done quite a few Clio V6s and said that most of the owners had been more happy with just 75 bhp jets ...but can be easily increased if u want more. (thats around the 300bhp mark!)
The total cost fitted and using the Large size Nos bottle.. was 1200 quid!! (does this sound about right??) There are no other upgrades needed to the management etc.... or lots of changing the engine components from there current form. Anyone else looking to make instant impressive gains for just over a grand would be hard pressed to get this without extensive mods to the management and cams.. etc.
Can you advise... is this all as straight forward as this? No other upgrades required? Reliability has been shown to not be any problem either?
Be good to hear what you think? Thanks again!!
