wobbling speedo in mk2 clio

hi, I have a 2000 w reg clio 1.9 dti, and the speedo needle wobbles about 5-10 mph sometimes, and is very irritating, I found threads for mk1s which are cables, is the mk2 speedo still a cable or is it a electric speedo sensor type, any help on how to cure it appreciated

might be the speedo sensor, i think that has to be in one of the wheel archs somewhere, where i dont know, but thats what i would guess at. if your rev dial is fine then its not the common problem of sticky throttle body

ok, cheers, i will have a look to see if i can see a speed sensor, around the car!
