wonder wheels on 182 cup wheels

  Ford Fiesta

can this be used or will it spoil the finish? all alloys are painted anyway right?

have used on mine and worked a treat, as you said, all alloys are painted anyway!

if you have ANY marks on them, dont use it

its very good stuff, but its also very strong, if you have any marks that have got under/damaged the top surface, it will slowly make it worse

id use Meguiars Hot Rims, by far the best wheel cleaner ive used, and ive used quite a few

It really is good, but it really is strong. Ive got slight cracks in places on the lacquer and it gets under and makes it look worse eventually. Water it down a touch.

wonder wheels is really strong and you only really need something that powerfull if you clean your car every 2k miles or so.

using it too often may dull down the lacquer making your super clean wheels look less shiny

if you clean regularly use a cheaper alternative instead. my credentials i help run http://www.evalet.co.ukwww.evalet.co.uk

cheers

Hi...

I use a soft car washing brush, and normal car shampoo (as part of my normal car wash); thus not using any harsh chemicals. Once every 6 months, I take the wheels off, and clean the insides the same way too.

Once clean, you can wax-em too.

only wax your wheels if you clean them every week if you dont break dust can get trapped under the wax as it heats up (melts) and cools down (hardens) this is one of the reasons why you find alloys with specks of brake dust you can never clean off even with wonder wheels

i was just curious really, i clean them every week, and use turtle wax break duct barrier. I always clean the whole wheel inside and out, dont take them off though, just clean by reachiong round the back or front etc...
