Wont start

Just went to leave off work and the trophy wont start just keeps turning over . AA called but has any one any ideas why .

if its just turning over, and not firing maybe you have some dirt in the spark plugs? Or a HT lead has come loose?

I was going to say starter motor, but if it's turning over then the starter motor is fine. I know this is a problem on Mk1 Clios.

Could be a number of things is the fuel pump kicking in?

it would not even attempt turn over if the immobiliser is stuck on. just had to get a new key for mine as immobiliser would not cancel.

the car is turning over, so wacking the starter motor help!
switch ignition on and listen for the fuel pump, thats where i would start

The AA man connected his stuff turned the key and it started . Still have no idea why ?

my mate had this and they said it was the coil pack ????
