Has anyone replaced the spline joint on their 172 offside driveshaft? end that fits onto gearbox.
Another member with the problem on a 182 here (with pics) - http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?615133-Reverse-Loud-Knock&highlight=reverse+knock
After a long search, some say its not available from dealers on its own and some say it is? The rest of the driveshaft is fine, just the splines in the sleeve have worn down.
