yeah but how often does a new/newish bmw go wrong compared to an old valver?? i love bmws mate...ESPECIALLY the convertibles - both my parents have them. one 3.20ci and one 3.30ci, and they both love them. my parents arent up their own arse, arrogant or sales reps....dont worry bout people like mitsi who cant tear away from a sterotypical view

I mean, can you imagine turning up to a meet in a hairdressers car thats going to only keep up with the Valvers, Willys and 172s on the straights and get caned by them on the roundabouts and twisties??
Your Valver is mint mate. Fine, get another car... God forbid even not a Renault, but do it with your eyes open man!! Get a CTR or a Golf if you want something less expensive to run. But even then, it may cost less every month to run, but then theres the price of having to stump up for one in the first place.
Get a Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo if you must - much, much better... and a hell of a lot faster too!

You will have to learn to drive really badly, and pull out without signalling, and go 65 in the middle lane at all times, and pull into the right lane at the last minute, and park in 2 spaces, and cut people up on roundabouts...
You will driver the same as every other person on the road (they are so common)

personally, only 3 series i would buy would be the m3 (soft top and csl included) or 330, anything less than that is just slow and desperate
If your wanting a bimma with power such as a 325i or bigger then itll just end up costing u more in fuel than it wud to keep the clio. My mate has a 325i he gets 180miles out of £35 tank full and thats not even driving it hard. Servicing and parts arent cheap either thats why i sold mine in november and bought my valver plus youll end up with loads of jealousy stripes unless youve very careful where you park it
