Would this fit?

Correct, hence why the boy probs wants to make a rep and why a lot of people do so for first car.

buy a 172 if you can afford the insurance mate, a lot less hassle than buying parts fixing them then getting them sprayed and fitted etc

if not then just go for it if you really want to.

in every way you are correct, you could just save for a better car when the time comes. i wish i had

but at the same time he could have an awesome looking 172 replica and drop a 172 engine in it at a later date if he wanted.

or just sell the parts off it when the time comes, most likely make half of the money back if you do this. i know i did when i sold my parts.

Mcaff is right and I can't afford the insurance, well maybe if I put my whole years wages to it! Thanks for the replies anyway! :)

Just dont bother matey, just pool that cash for when your Clio goes French and spits a spring or other such problem.

If you want to do something to "liven up" your car, try going down the colour-coding route instead, at least to begin with..

Just a thought mind, of course it's your car and your money, enjoy how you will.

Bit of a novice with cars tbh as you can tell, and although colour coding sounds so obvious, I'm not sure on what needs colour coding? My clio is black so pretty much everything is black...

ah, I see.

well, you can always make the matt-black plastic a gloss black. Or remove the rub-strips altogether.
A lot of peeps on here get an RS grille for their non-sport and I've always thought ther rear of the Campus looked quite smart.

Have a play with the search bar above, you'll find plenty of people who've tried different things on their non-sport, may get some inspiration from them.

Good luck with it anyway
