  Disco 3 &4 1993 mini

Got any pics.

Might be a good idea to arrange goes in at certain track days. Could combine some big clio meets into it.

what if someone crashes it.. dont think i could trust someone with such a beast :) but ill take it for a run

What would you charge for a day out???

havnt looked into price as of yet but it would depend on wether i would deliver the car, i would stay for the day as a mechainc and other things like if intruction was required.

  clio 172 cup
i had a track car hire website sumwhere and they charged £600 all in for a day in a 182 cup.

Lot of work to do it though if you're planning it as a company as opposed to cash in hand. You're also liable if mechanical failure causes an off and you'll need to take ensure appropriate cover for third party damages off the track.

Worth looking into but a pain in the arse IMHO for very little reward once you've paid for upkeep.

also the insurance for any drivers could be quite costly

What about trieing it small time first, maybe friends/family then possibly advertising here, could be a good feature for FCS etc

I think its a very good idea and would pay for itself if you were charging 5-600 for a full day

I'd deffinately look into it if I were you, (Think of all the people who are affraid to track theirs, or who would like to try a cup racer out)

Whether or not it would be financially worth it would be another matter, but worth looking into imo.

I would be interested possibly if the price is right

but what about your tires and brakes after the track session they'll be fucked costing u money

  Charged Superleggera
i wouldnt trust people with it tbh. some people just dont have the skills to handle a track car.

u should charge about £400 then say u want £300 excess just in case they break sumthing

its gona be more than that mate and they will have to pay the excess on the insurance will be between 1500 and 2000

Given that you could spend a day driving an R8, Gallardo, F430, Bentley GT, and a DBS for £1000, there's no way in hell I'd spend more than £500 on a clio at a track day.

  Turbos.
I doubt anyone would to be honest. People struggle to justify a trackday, so the additional cost of hiring and associated expenses... good idea but can't see it happening!

they wouldnt have to pay the excess unless something happened to the car, im guessing the cost is going to be about 600

i'd be terrified to let someone i didn't know out on track in my car after the time and effort that has gone into it!

Personally, I wouldn't. £600 for a day in a clio? Think how silly that sounds. Not to piss on your bonfire, but I'd never spend that.

its cool i asked for peoples opinions so that what i got, theres a company called track day club that hire out standard road going clio for 545

I'm not sure on your customers being liable for the insurance excess if anything goes wrong. I think you'd need to look into that more, personally I'd be expecting the company I was hiring the car off to have to stump that if I was paying them £500+ to hire the car for the day.

Plus there would also be public liability insurance to look into.

I thnk you'd be best to speak to a qualified business adviser if you are serious about this.

But for me, no. I wouldn't pay that much money to hire a Clio for a day.
