If you were gonna buy a car which was a 53 plate and still had two years left on the warranty would you recommend having a full AA vehicle inspection done or would you just have the history checked?

Also what docs would you expect to get with the car if you bought it?

Yeah just hpi, i would have thought that an AA inspection would be a bit OTT, what actual inspections do they do?

AA inspections are a waste of time as they vary in quality and the so called experts!....I paid alot to have a full inspection and they said it was fine no repairs etc a1 condition.



I wnet to look at it myself and found it had:


new wings/bonnet and rad
wrong colour spray
damage to rear valance
incorrect seats for model
I was fuming! to say the least. Better taking a good mechanic and paying him (someone you now or used alot). plus a HPi check

Anyone know if i could phone renault (maybe the local garage)- give them the details of the car- and would they be able to tell me if any repairs had been done on the car?
