Wow - insurance being nice re: brakes!

Just rung up to get a quote off the insurance for my Yozzasport-supplied pads, discs and lines and I was told that only the discs counted as an upgrade/modification.

Im amazed!

Al managed to get all of his interior mods done by classing them as Interior mods instead of listing them individually.

Yeah, I had thought about that actually.

Ive got "exterior decorative changes" on mine so I can only assume that I could now whack a maxi kit on it and not pay any more lol

Are discs classed as an upgrade?

Its odd.. they dont do much.. its the calipers which would change stuff, surely?

er guys - you do not tell them discs are a mod! You are just replacing worn out components.

You are just giving away money.

if the discs are vented but not drilled groved etc you possibly could getaway withit but not otherwise also if the disc is bigger than standard they may notice

I see it the same sort of thing as R rated tyres etc - a massive improvement in performance, but no need to tell the insurance.

Whats the score Fred?
