WTF!!!!!!

ok i was driving home from my girlfiends late saterday night and i was doing about 40 in second gear when the throttle cut out and the brakes automaticlly come on full wack!! i grappled with the wheel to stay in a stright line then quickly pulled over as it felled like my tire blew out, i checked all the tires and they were fine, started it up and drove of fine!
now the only thing i can posiblly think happened is because it was so foggy, moisture got into the ecu, other than that, the people down at renault are trying to kill me!

anyone had there esp go mental on them? keep in mind this was a complely flat road with nothing in the road! its just fucked!

I didnt think that the TCS had any control over the brakes.

ESP is not TCS actually...

ESP as far as I know does check if the wheels are all making the same RPM. Reducing power to the front wheels when spinning

However there is also a gravity sensor implemented. It measures direction changes and can apply brakes to all wheels individually. Trying to make sure you do not end up in the ditch.

Heard different stories about it, but I only made use of it once, and was NOT dissapointed

Anyway dude you're lucky, and indeed WTF!!! Should get it checked..don't know if they can read out with the CLIP..

if someone was behind me im pretty sure they would of ended up with there engine in my passenger seat! brakes are pretty mental and that vid makes sence coz it wasnt brakeing all wheels coz it tryed pull me off the road! hense thinking i had a blow out!

fault?? thats coz its not one! there trying to kills us! trying to write off the clios so we all go out and buy there new one! bet its some nutty manager sitting there strokeing a white cat and doesnt call it writing a car off, its "expireing"
