XBMC vs Windows Media Center

I am in the process of building a HTPC for under the TV. Anyone out there use either of these? I've heard good things about XBMC but what does it offer that WMC doesn't? Also, a girl needs to be able to use it as well, which is the most user/girl friendly?

nothing, WMC is brilliant when combine with mediabrowser. I use this combination to stream all my blurays etc to my 360.

WMC / media browser / meta browser / stark covers = nice!

What would you use this for if you can just watch tv on the tv?

I've just broken up my WMC based on Win7. It was very wife friendly and that was my main reason for choosing it.
