Xenon headlights (renaultsport) - one purple, one white?

Hello all,

Dont think it was always like this, but noticed the reflection of my car behind another car last night.

OS headlight is bright white, tint of blue.
NS headlight is dull, red/pink/purpley colour.

Im sure it wasnt like this when I bought it, Do i need a new bulb?

I believe an odd colour change is one sign of a dying bulb, yes.

Yep, pinky xenon means the bulb is on it's way out.

Thanks guys, just wanted to double check. Did 200miles last night and it was constantly bugging me.

Will order some bulbs, any suggestions? From reading I believe they are D2S, 5000k? 35w ?

They're D2s yeah, 4300k i think.

Bumper off job to fit?

Ideal time to change the temperature of the bulb. Standard are 4300k. 6000k is most peoples choice, slightly blue. They are D2S too yes.

Didn't refresh the page before replying!

Easier to remove the headlight to fit them, which does mean bumper off, but thats not hard!

I'd stick with 4300K. More light > looking cool.

No, its possible to do it without removing bumper. Small hands help.
Mine were swapped by my mechanic in 5 minutes

I may give it a try without removing bumper if thats the case. Cheers
