xenon in 172/182

Hi there,

Was wondering if anyone here have changed the D2S xenon bulbs in a Clio 172/182? I think its got a 4300K D2S bulb standard?

And is it easy to change?

Warrenty? Arent they guarenteed to last a certain amount of years?

think there may be 12 months but maybe not, its a wear and tear item, they are designed to last the life of the car but can go.

I do tend ot believe they will last a long time. Long enough that you probably wont have your car anymore But i may be wrong. Anyways has anyone opened it up, i.e. taken the original bulb out? Is it made by Philips?

IIRC Renault told me the Xenon bulbs have a 5/10 year warranty on them. I might be wrong though as you know how clueless dealers are.
