hi

I have the headlights out, how do I get the bulb out to fit the new one? cannot find info on search...

do you twist the black holder thing to release it?

do not want to break this.. help appreciated!

yeh there re two desighns mate. if you have the same one as me then you rotate the black plastic ring and the bulb should come out with it but its a pain to get back together

The entire xenon lamp twists to remove.
The black box is the ignitor and is attached to the lamp, as I remember it the locating clips are on the ignitor.

ok - removed the ignitor..

headlamp is out of car sitting in front of me

do I twist the black thing holding the bulb entirely? seems tight and do not want to break it.. mot in 2 days!

Can you post a picture to be sure as it's years since I did mine?

done folks

just took the chance and twisted the black thing in the end, popped out, from then on, took 10 mins to install bulbs refit lights put bumper back on
