xmas project

took it upon myself to embark on a little project during the festive period... i disliked the general shitness of the side strips on my 172 cup, so decided to spray them to match the rest of the car. a team effort really... and a pain in the arse! as my mates will willingly vouch.

couple of before pics:

cost about 50 quid all in. i've not been billed for my mates' time yet... took us 3 days from start to finish.

i'm quite happy with the result. and my spray painting mate won't shut up about his bloody skills.

Na the paint renna use is a rubber type stuff straight onto plastic so needed to be primed for the colour to match the car.

i don't know about the strips matching the car... but my garage certainly does. sterling renna club effort i'd say.

I had mine done on my old Cup. One of the best mods i did. Mates a Chips away type dude, freebie ftw!!!

Yeah it's 1 of those mods that annoyingly people won't notice cos it looks so natural, loving it though I no longer look at my mates trophy with envy. LOL
