XP help...

This has now happened on the last two computers ive owned and is really annoying me as i cant figure out why, google was not my friend on this occasion

basicaly the titles in my computer eg "CD / Dvd drives" "hard drives" "network drives" and "drives with removable storage" have dissapeared and everythings in a great muddle. Any idea how i can get them back?

the only options for view i have are the usual thumnails/tiles/icons/list/details :S

Think you're getting at windows explorer and the menu's on the left. If so, look @ view > explorer bar and in particular 'Folders'.

na not the side bit, figured it out.

the view > arrange icons by > show in groups

tick untick it and youll see what i meant.
