Yay Cambelt changed today!!

Got my cambelt changed today, the car if 5 on the 2nd march so just as well really.
Only cost me £336 as well, so quite chuffed really.

Got aux belt changed by stealer in Oct for nothing as was part of free 36k service I got.

Yeh that's where i go, always seem to get a good service. I knew my MOT was due in March, but found out tonight it's the bloody 1st, so having to ring them in the morning.

First time I have been there......I certainly will be going back there for any future work though.
Told him Evans H wanted to charge me £550 for cambelt change...he just shook his head in disgust.

Seemed abit smoother....but i haven't really took it for a burn yet. I only use the car at weekends, so I will check it out properly this weekend.

He's done everything mechanically to my car since i've had it, so i'm hoping he can fit me in on thurs/fri incase it fails. What colour is your 172?

Just got mine done locally for 353 done a good job feels a lot more responsive when you put your foot down and idles better, might just be psychological though lol.

Another garage quoted me 185, theyve done small things for me like ignition coils, but they are only about 26 and seemed to good for that kinda money. Will keep them handy for punctures and things like that lol
