yay got meself a 182.

just been to view one tonight

was spotless, seemed to be well cared for, no usual small parking dings or anything. just one very tiny stone chip and one small scratch on one of the wheels. cant see them unless theyre pointed out to you.

10k miles
04 plate
arctic blue.
cup susp pack
6 disc changer

its only had to have a driveshaft done under warranty

9.6k

going to collect it early next week once hes swapped his private plate off it to his new car.

first time i drove a 182, at first i didnt think too much to it but then hitting that 5.5k it just went, before i knew it it was touching treble figures.. still didnt FEEL mega fast but im used to a little 106 with loud exhaust etc which makes them feel faster.

was RRd at 179.5bhp

Bit of a machine by the sounds of it!

Enjoy the 182 mate!

With nitrous that would last 5mins! Fairly large shot to get that Bhp!
it lasted well over a year and did plenty of drag days, was also run in at like 1k rpm by the planks on the rollers which would normally blow any other engine to sh*t rags and couldnt get traction on the rollers.

when i stripped my engine down to fit some new pistons etc it was very clean, no excess carbon build up anywhere, the nitrous cleans the engine out.

the TU 8v engines seem really strong and seem to love abuse.

cant wait to go pick the 182 up.. hopefully it will be available sunday, if not will have to be tuesday.

  An orange one

guyS...is that you i recognise off ssc...if it is youll know me as "scottishsaxo" (had the wide arched VTR cover car)

Hi guy, you may remember me off the PGAC Forum as chris106gti, a fellow NOS addict, im laughing at your comment about the 182 not FEELING fast, not much does after youve had some NOS pumped through your veins!!
Any way, im sure youll love the 182, what happened to the 106 then?

hey colin, yeah its me.. :)

chris - i think its cos i only really gave it the odd boot past 5k, as i was test driving it with the owner sat next to me! he he

plus we were threes up as my mate was in the back

he knew the score though, took me to a bit of dual carriageway and said give it a blast if you want.

had to drive to essex though! set off at 5, got home by 12:15 and that included doing some silly speeds on the empty roads on the way home, did 400 mile. he he

worth it though..

the 106 - some animal ran out at night, hit the brakes too hard, the bias valve wasnt adjusted and car lowered = back brakes locking up first. for some reason i kept hold of the brakes and skidded off road into a lampost..why i didnt just let go of the brakes and carry on i will never know..

wont be doing that again.. lol
