as im not gay ive ordered myself a de cat for me cup (janspeed) now ive heard about problems with the lambda sensors etc bringing on the emmissions light, Some people say leave them both plugged in, some say leave the second one out, or unplug it

whats the score with these??!!

cheers.

http://www.confused.comwww.confused.com;)

when you say remove do you mean leave it connected taped up somewhere or unplug it?

and what size bolt do i need to blank off the hole?

if your de cat has two holes use both! if it causes a problem, remove the latter one! my 172 has 2 sensors but de cat only has 1 hole therefore i removed the second sensor (taped it up) and is fine!

Remove the second sensor unplug the sensor and store it somewhere safe tape up the wires and tape them to something to keep them out the way.

I keep seeing you drive past my house will have to see you on the road some time.

You need the first sensor to make the ECU work as this is the one which it needs. The second just ensures the cats working but with no cat etc then you need to remove it as if it doesnt give a signal then it doesnt set the emmisions light off.
