Yoko A539 on Cup

Had to change the fronts after 1200 miles, hit a pot hole and split one of the fronts (Doh!!!)

Anyway, had to get a set of A539s, are these any good?

Ive heard Yokohamas are very soft, but very grippy

Im very tempted to replace all 4 for Toyos, and keep this set to wreck on the track, any thoughts?

y0z2a has been running them on his Cup for a while. Ive not heard any complaints from him. When I drove the car they seemed very grippy to me too.

replace them with rainsports and use them for the dry stuff

grippy, dont wear that bad as ive dont about 30 laps on the 2 diff tracks and they are holding up fine, still about 5 mil of tread.

THe sidewall is a tad soft and likes a little bit more camber than euro tyres, but apart from that they are great for the price.

compare price vs performance though. On track there will be nill diff between final lap times really.......but one will cost near 300 quid a set, and one a tad over 100. hmmmmmmmmmm
