York is the worst track in the UK - serious lack of investment. My dad raced his cars there back in the 70's & 80's and i went with him as a kid.....it has never changed

My m8s Scirrocco managed his PB of 10.27 iirc and a 0-60 time of 2.8!

Great range of cars from skoda estates to a few skylines/evos and loads of hot hatches...made me wish I was running mine lol

Jordy bought the car as a standard Storm but somebody had scrapped the 110bhp 1600 motor and dropped in a carb version from a 91 scirocco GT2. We stripped the car back to the metal and discovered 3 layers of different paint ( red, blue and green ) the car had new panels and a pro paint job inside and out to get it as good as new.

The original engine was thrown out and a 1.8t dropped in - power progressed from 270 bhp to 330 bhp then to 390 bhp and now its just over 500 bhp.

We built the clio TT at the same time and were continuosly trying to better the cars after racing each other and competing on times at the strip. It got silly and ££££ were spent. The nitrous set up on the car was taken off my clio from when i originally ran the F4R lump and fitted to the vw. Steel rods, forged pistons and a 1.9 overbore were done on both cars taking the clio to just over 400 bhp with an IHI vf34 fitted on both cars. The scirocco was converted to 4WD also with a race logic control system added

The scirocco is also track capable - and f**k me nothing touches it. Hes had several people approach him at oulton park that have themselves been racing v expensive machinery and they were blitzed by the vw - they were scratching there heads in amazement when they realised what the car had fitted.
