Yorkshire Winter Chit-Chat

Could probably get discounted food/free drinks at the hotel I work at just off the m62 if anyones interested? Could always plan it onto the route.
 
Well I was hoping to try and clean the car over the weekend! Bought a new clay bar and some new products to try! Think I'll pass if it snows [emoji30]

Mine has gotten worse in the last week than it did all December. I'm probably carrying half a ton of tar too as the road outside work has been resurfaced this week. [emoji45]
 
Sometimes I think my car hates me! Today the rear drivers shock has decided to collapse! So new shocks on order! Half way to a suspension refresh!

If the rears were anything like that front one then I'm not surprised haha.

At least the rears are even easier than the fronts to replace.
 
Flexi's have gone on the manifold, hopefully get it sorted over the weekend. Fairly common fault if I understand correctly!

Ah right, does it have 2? I had an A3 before this 182 and they both went on that, got them replaced at Tony Banks IIRC.

February. Talk to me. What do you want to do? Shall we start 2017 with a standard Huntsman Inn meetup or do people want to switch it up?
 
I'm easy - although if I had a choice, meet, find quiet country road in the middle of nowhere, foot to the floor :up:.
 
New to Clio ownership, been lurking for a while but finally bought one. I'm based in Hull but would be good to meet up with people and get a few tips/advice.
 
The roads near the huntsman are fairly bouncy but they're OK. Some nice roads going on holmfirth road/ Meltham way.

Yeah the "f**k following a camper van" detour was entertaining. Shame the gimp bikers slowed us down.
How about heading north Yorkshire for a change? I know a garage that might have an Integrale or two to dribble on.

I feel embarrassed just had to google what a integrale was! Now I know! I'm easy for what we do I'm free most weekends, be nice to have a good run out on some nice roads and test my new suspension out properly. (Rear shocks still to fit) [emoji23]

Walkers at south otterington?
 
Not 100% sure. Some good suggestions like going North Yorkshire to see some integrales but it might be a bit far for some people.

Im not coming to this meet as I'll just be organising them until i have my driving license so i can bring myself instead of having to get lifts every time.

The options i can see atm are:
-Huntsman Meet
-Meetup near meltham and explore some roads there (@Louis if you know some good roads around then you can lead the way)
-North Yorkshire to drool over some cars

Also do people want to go at Start, Mid or End of Feb? Next meet after will be RS Tuning with turbo renault on 1st April.

@RenaultVirgin It doesn't look like anyone wants to be the one to suggest a plan, might be worth just banging a topic up, deciding on a plan of action with date and time (admins decision is the decision!) and seeing who's going to attend.
 
Not yet, if there is still track time remaining when I have the funds I will. Currently being invested in keeping the car roadworthy! MOT tomorrow and full service, that should be that.
Have you got yours?
 
I can't bloody afford it! I've got a stag do/wedding coming up [emoji30] and decided to go on a 2 week holiday in July as this will be my last one now till I'm a home owner [emoji22]
