YouTube is taking ages today!!!

I started to dowload a clip to YouTube this morning at around 8.15am and nine hours on it's still not finished! It's about seven minutes long and in AVI format from my little digital camera and is below their 10mins limit so does anyone know how I can 'speed it up' please?
