Yozza Question...

  200 FF Storm Grey
Made a thread the other week about a rattling from my exhaust, turned out to be the heat shielf on one corner.

But now the rattling has come back and is through the rev range rather than just at a certain point, even at idle, I should add that i've got no carpet or seats so the slightest tapping sounds much louder as you can't even hear it from outside the car..

Suspect with the yozza being a different shape to the standard system that the heat shield isn't perfectly suited and will catch in a few places, is there any safety issue in just taking the heat shield off?

Cheers

You sure? My dad seemed to think it could be a potential fire risk if something caught it

I've been told that in standing traffic the heat it passes through into the car is literally unbearable, is this correct?

It's a simple problem in that something is vibrating underneath, it's just a pain in the arse to shut it up!
