Zeitronix wideband installed

Well, Ive finally managed to install my wideband lambda sensor in my valver.

Its the Zeitronix ZT-2 with extra display.

At first I didnt know where to put the display as it is a pretty big casing, but when I took out the display I saw that I could just make it fit instead of the temperature display in the clockunit.

It was a pretty painstaking job, but Im very pleased with the result.

Now all I have to do is to get the mapping right, so I can finally drive my valver to its full potential again.

The wideband kit was $399,- and the postage was $40,-.

But than those sh*tters at customs thought it was funny to give me a bill of €86,- for importing.....

So all-in itll be around €500,- which is somewhere around 350 GBP.

TPS= Throttle postion sensor
EGT= Exhaust Gas Temp
AFR= Air/Fuel Ratio

excellet bit of kit by the look of it, helps you to monitor the engine very accuratley

does it come with a thermocoupling for the EGT aswell?
You can order a EGT sensor and connect it to the display.

You can also use the software as a datalogging system when using a laptop.

thats looks spot in (looks factory to me)
how many miles is the car on ??
- i have no idea of how to work out kms in to miles !!

u have to get the no in km 244124 then times by 5 1220620 then divide by 8 equals 152577.5 miles. if u want to turn miles in to km swap the 5 and 8

or just divide by 1.6!???

So you bought the thermocoupling?

Where did you place it?

Its very nice peice of incar kit.

Which wideband does it use? UEGO? NTK?

No, I didn get the thermocoupling, but you cant change the EGT reading on the display. The only thing you can change on the display is the TPS reading which you can show boost, TPS or a user input.

The kit includes a simple Bosch wideband which is actually the best choice if you want to use the wideband instead of the standard narrowband sensor.

The car has done 152577 miles, but the engine has done just 9000 miles since its last modifications.
