Did a forum search but nothing helped. Need to decide quickly because my standard systems blowing like a whore. So far ive narrowed my options down to: K-tec, Powerflow, Devil, Miltek, Supersprint, BB tuning.

Whos got what and whats the out-come? Not after a really loud job, just something with a nice note, perofrmance alterations and good looks!

Whats your thoughts?

Ive got a K-Tec 4.5" exhaust & straight through de-cat on my valver, looks brilliant, good, noticeable performance gains, and very LOUD.

If you got a silenced de-cat, it will be quieter.

I thought the magnex systems were really loud?

Ive just been on the blower to k-tec and they said theyve just released their new exhaust. Its a 3n1/2 inch pipe going into 6" jap style box. performance gains are the best so far and also has valve thing in the box which opens up when you boot it. Which means its not going to be loud when town driving, unless i want it to be! Bit like the Aston exhausts! its 225+vat. oh +39 for the decat pipe!

aarrrgggghhhh. too many choices. Whats so good about these magnew systems?

magnex are not really loud until you put your foot down they just have a really nice tone and they have a very good reputation

It has a removable baffle, nothing nearly as complicated as on the Vanquish!

Magnex is quality through and through..

i see! removable baffle, thought he ment its got the same technology as Vanquish power. hehe. Shame really! One just booted passt work and everyone ran over too the window! Knew it was a Vanni thou. Just sound the best! Prefer over the 355.

What discount will i get with K-Tec whenme membership comes through?

Yeah it is actually a very impressive exhaust system once you realise how much work was put into it, the help of Ford clearly made a difference.

K-tec discount between 10 and 15% i think. I personally like their twin 3 inch.

done deal i think. basically no VAT then! Magnex is about 250 but something is telling me to got for the K-Tec system. K-Tec said no1 has put one on a 16v yet. I may be the first. Going to order it now!

How do i go about getting a discount? Mention im a member? Do i need my membership number?

There is also power gains as a customer who had a system with one of these boxes piped from the front to back on a 1.4 civic got a 7hp gain at the wheels

If I remember, I sent my membership, and I had my pack through the post very shortly after.. wasnt longer than 5 days if I remember!

Mine took 2 weeks. I think they have a certain day Jas picks up the post so it depends if youve missed that day maybe.

The post was picked up last Thu and Sat and processed same day, with all the paypal memberships as well. We have a 2 day MAX turnaround once we get the mail, so either you hit the mailbox a day or 2 after we just collected, or Royal Mail are up to their usual slow delivery tricks.

For peoples reference, the mail is usually collected on Sat, but your packs should always be with you within the 2 weeks promised time, if your lucky, it can be as quick as a few days.
