Checked the seals on both occasions with both the cars, I even took the seal off and put it back on!

I have had 2 clio 172s now and both of them leak at the bottom of the passenger doors. Has anyone found this fault on any other clios or have I just got the worse luck on this earth!! Kate

I can actually see where the water trickles in from and it does seem to be the rubber bit that goes round the whole of the door, I was just a bit worried as knowing me I wont get the stupid thing back on!! Kate

Thanks for that, I think its the seal that goes all the way around so I will try to take it off and then put it back on! Thanks for the help!! Kate

I can see where the water comes in, it comes in about 3/4 of the way along the bottom of the door. Im also afraid to admit I am female and if I took the car seat out I dont ever think I would get it back in again!?

Hello, I have got a 2002 clio 172 and every time it rains I have a nice little trickle of water that comes in the passenger door and soaks the floor and the mat! I have checked the rubber seal around the door and their is no grit or anything that is stuck in it and the door doesnt seem to have...

The best bit is that I am disabled as I had a very bad car crash a few years back and now have a bad leg so I haveto a disabled badge and you should look at the old peoples faces when I park in a disabled place in my clio 172! Its a picture!!

No I havnt got a private plate Im from Bedford. Does anyone else get a funny banging noise when you try to pull away fast? Its like when the car is trying to get traction? It doesnt spin but as I pull away hard its by the front wheels and is really loud?? Its almost like a hammering noise?

Sorry, no it doesnt happen on smooth roads, only on bumpy raods and I do go slow!! It also doesnt sound very happy when I put a full lock on turning round and things!

Its an import so the warranty ran out last year and the noises dont happen all the time.
